Does anyone have experience with hamradioprep.com? I used the ARRL book and hamstudy.com to get my ticket, but I was really interested. I know of several people (most are teenagers) that would like to get a license. But I’m not sure what the best study method is for a person who is not super into it. I think an interactive program like hamradioprep.com would hold their attention better. It cost a money though. Might be worth it if several kids do it at once. Just wondered if anyone has tried it or has any other ideas on a dynamic study program. Thanks! -Chase KF0GFE

Chase, work with Jeremy, NQ0M, on the classes for the prospective hams. Do you think it would be good for the club to invest in some study books for these classes? The classes can serve many purposes. These new hams can learn the rules, practices and the technical side; but, they can also meet others who have the same interests. Finding folks who are interested and helping them get their license and get on the air is one of the main goals of the club.
