KeymasterChase, work with Jeremy, NQ0M, on the classes for the prospective hams. Do you think it would be good for the club to invest in some study books for these classes? The classes can serve many purposes. These new hams can learn the rules, practices and the technical side; but, they can also meet others who have the same interests. Finding folks who are interested and helping them get their license and get on the air is one of the main goals of the club.

KeymasterSteve, should we list answers to your question of the week?

KeymasterI agree these are great topics. I would like to see individuals take responsibility to present these topics at our meetings. I would like to see us produce a schedule of events that include the program topics for each club meeting. This will be one agenda item for the January meeting.

KeymasterChase, a website for online hf listening is http://websdr.org. The band edges are marked. There are a number of stations listed from all over the world; enjoy.

KeymasterA start for activities could be the Thursday evening VHF net on the repeater. I admit I haven’t been active there; time to change. What if we had a check-in topic; for example, do you operate on HF and if so what mode and bands. That’s just a suggestion. What do you think.

KeymasterSteve, did you have any trouble logging in to this. I have had mixed results. It may be because of how I have the web address set up. I will check.
